Welcome to Green Mountain Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient medical art that treats diseases and pain through the shallow insertion and manipulation of very fine, sterile needles into specified points on the human body. It is a safe, painless procedure that has been practiced in the East for at least 2,500 years—with some references pointing to it’s existence 5,000 years ago. Today, more and more Americans are considering acupuncture as a complement to other conventional medical treatments. To see a list of conditions that acupuncture can treat, click here.

Will insurance cover treatments?

Many insurance policies are now covering Acupuncture. Worker’s compensation, auto insurance are also covered and acceptable forms of payment. Please call our office so we can assist you in determining your specific coverage.

How many treatments will I need?

After your initial medical intake, evaluation and treatment, our Acupuncturist will give you a clear prognosis of how many treatments are necessary for you. Some people experience relief after one visit, but may need a short course of follow-up visits to rebalance their body in order to maintain good health.

Do you provide pediatric acupunture?

Acupuncture has been used to help children heal for thousands of years. It is a safe, drug-free method that treats acute and chronic conditions. At our office, we treat infants with acupressure and Chinese herbal medicine. Older children enjoy pain-free thin needles, and sweet tasting herbal medicine.
